Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Sunday said that the Sindh government was reluctant to cooperate with him, despite the federal government was 'extending its all out cooperation' to the provincial government. Responding to media queries on the second day of 14th Build Asia Exhibition at the Karachi Expo Centre, the Governor said that the PPP-led provincial government was not responding whenever he approached its officials on various affairs. This behaviour, he said is tantamount to discouraging the federal government in completing development projects in the province.
The governor said that the federal government had taken serious notice of gas supply suspension to industries. He said that the government has finalised arrangements to supply gas to industries and CNG sector on a priority basis. To another query regarding India, Governor said that Pakistan is ready to open Khokharapar border but this time India should take initiatives.
Since independence, he said Pakistan has survived without any help from India and there will no any assistance required in future, he said and added, "We need talks on equality levels." Imran Ismail said that the Build Asia Exhibition is contributing its part to ensure growth of construction industry in the county.
