Whale Cloud Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication on Monday organised Pakistan's first digital summit. The summit brought together hundreds of top minds in the country to accelerate tech, innovation and economic development within the country. The aim is to turn Pakistan into the world's next major digital innovation hub by 2030, with speakers' from China and Pakistan and over 250 guests "Cloud Now - Digital Pakistan Summit."
The summit also generated tangible immediate impact driven items for both the public and private sectors and sparked major initiatives within the country. "Digital Pakistan is no more a dream, it will become a reality soon," said International CEO Whale Cloud Ben Zhou.
"With a major investment plans we will not only contribute towards Pakistan's economy but will also help create jobs," said President Whale Cloud South East Asia, Davy Chen.
Professor Wu (Institute of Science & Technology from Jian gnan University China), Rita Liu,(Senior Analyst HIS Markit), Gary Lee (Director Innovative Business Research Ali Baba), Kevin Xu (Senior Advisor, National Smart City Joint Lab CSUS, MOHURD China, Ben Zhou (International CEO Whale Cloud Technology, Davy Chen (President Whale Cloud South East Asia), Nasir Naqvi (ED NITB), Zohair Khaliq (Member PM IT Task Force), Nadeem Malik (Member PM IT Task Force), Azhar Rizvi (Advisor to Government of Sindh), Faisal Iqbal (DG NITB), and Omar J Gillani (Regional Director South East Asia ENCLUDE) were amongst the most prominent speakers at the summit. MD Whale Cloud Technology Pakistan, Junaid Shaheen said that they are committed to helping individuals, businesses and the government to develop their full potential using digital technologies and to reach the value and benefits of the digital lifestyle.
Whale Could, the strategic partner of Ali Baba Group, is about to land in Pakistan along with an investment of $70 million, spread over the next two to three years.
Whale Cloud CEO Ben Zhou called upon the Federal Minister of IT and Telecom, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to consider the opportunities and investment climate in Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Whale Cloud is a leading data intelligence company renowned across the globe. Founded in 2003, it was the largest subsidiary of ZTE and since then, it has been engaged in telecom data processing and ICT domains. In 2018, it became a strategic partner of Ali Baba Cloud.
