On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,612. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 22.405 billion and the number of lots traded 34,617. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 15.499 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 3.090 billion, gold PKR 1.262 billion, platinum PKR 793.360 million, currencies through COTS PKR 615.027 million, DJ PKR 577.310 million, natural gas PKR 293.856 million, SP500 PKR 111.253 million, silver PKR 72.254 million, copper PKR 72.206 million and Brent crude oil PKR 18.387 million.
