The Punjab government will establish special Christmas Bazars in Lahore and other cities of Punjab. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khand said that he has directed district administration and local bodies department to immediately take steps in this regard and provide free of cost stalls for providing goods at discounted rates to the citizens.
Abdul Aleem Khan said that in Lahore, areas like Youhana Aabad, Township and Green Town should be given priority while in other districts the Christian community areas should be given preference. He asked secretary local government to extend full cooperation in this regard and make these Christmas Bazars more beneficial for Christians.
