Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed his resolve to materialize the dream of "change" with the establishment of a society based on socio-economic justice and equality. "The foundation of a new Pakistan has been laid under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and we all have to move forward collectively to materialize this dream early. In the new Pakistan, divide between the poor and the rich will be bridged," Sardar Usman said while talking to different delegations, here at Chief Minister's office Friday.
The CM maintained said that some reprobate persons are afraid of change but the fact is that outdated and obsolete system has not given anything to the people. The archaic system will have to be totally transformed to improve the quality of life of the common man. He said the country is moving towards bright future under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. "We believe in actions and do not rest upon claims. People will themselves be a witness to our practical steps," he added.
Usman Buzdar said that resources have been diverted towards deprived areas and every backward tehsil will be brought at par with the developed areas. "No hurdle will be allowed in the journey of development and prosperity of a new Pakistan and the PTI government sides with the feeble and disfranchised of the society," he said.
Moreover, the Punjab CM in his message on "National day of rights of working women', said the PTI government is fully committed to include the womenfolk in the mainstream of the society and the dream of empowering the women would be materialized in the new Pakistan led by Prime Minister Imran Khan. "Pakistan cannot progress without giving rights to the women and women will have to play an active role in the socio-economic and cultural development of the country," he said, adding: "Pakistani women have earned a niche in different sectors with their abilities and multifarious talents."
