On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,602. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 75.398 billion and the number of lots traded 93,410.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 66.574 billion, followed by gold PKR 3.508 billion, DJ PKR 1.483 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.348 billion, platinum PKR 1.050 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 873.452 million, natural gas PKR 283.549 million, SP500 PKR 170.577 million, copper PKR 74.108 million, silver PKR 69.368 million and Brent crude oil PKR 7.948 million. In agriculture commodities one lot of cotton valued PKR 0.529 million was traded.
