Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority, while taking action on public complaints on Sunday confiscated a huge quantity of substandard spices during ongoing crackdown at different business premises in Peshawar. Talking to media persons here, the Food Authority Spokesman, Waqarullah Khan said that the teams had conducted raids at various business premises despite the holiday and inspected the quality of food items. He said the team had seized 10 cartons of sub-standard spices from a factory, situated nearby Shahalam Bridge on Charsadda Road Peshawar.
