Punjab Minister for Information & Culture Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan has said days of culprits have been numbered who looted national exchequer through corruption, money laundering and settling kickbacks and destroyed national institutions including Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Railways, and Steel Mills.
Talking to the media at launch of National Book Fair at e-Library located in Public Park, Rawalpindi on Saturday, Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan said 'Sharif Mafia' reduced 38 billion dollars exports of Pakistan up to 20 billion dollars and set new records of corruption in the country. He said Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed on Model Town incident and law will take its course on day light murder of 14 persons.
The minister said Nawaz Sharif paid 85 days foreign visits along with family and personal investors just to promote his own businesses but in the contrary Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had been conducting foreign visits only for the revival of damaged economy of Pakistan and he had been given open arms by the world leaders during his foreign visits.
Responding to a question, Chohan said those who declared NAB laws as black laws, they themselves appointed Chairman NAB with consensus and we do not appointed even a peon in NAB.
He strongly condemned the allegations of Rana Sana Ullah and other opposition leaders and said they have been indulged in mega corruption cases and damaged national exchequer and now they are misleading the public. He was of the view that present leadership of PTI is committed to restore economy and image of Pakistan in international community.
Replying to another question, Punjab Information Minister clarified that local administration and police officials have been directed to manage law and order and adopt measures to apprehend culprits involved in crimes of dacoities, robberies.
