Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) will hold an Investment Conference in Balochistan with the support of the provincial government. FPCCI president Engr Daroo Khan Achakzai called on Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan where it was decided that an Investment Conference would be held to explore the opportunities of investment in various sectors in Balochistan. Investors from across Pakistan and also from foreign countries will be invited to the conference.
"The investment conference will be held within the first quarter of 2019 to explore and exploit the resources in Balochistan," Achakzai said, adding that the conference would also help project Balochistan's soft image internationally and particularly in the background of CPEC.
He further said that Chief Minister Jam Kamal has offered incentives for attracting foreign investment in all sectors of the provincial economy to create jobs for youth. FPCCI president said that apart from incentives to both local and foreign investment, Balochistan government would also ensure security and protection of the investment.
Achakzai who also hails from Balochistan assured the Chief Minister that FPCCI would project the positive image of the province in the entire region. He emphasised that the issues and challenges being faced by the business community of Balochistan should be resolved on priority to restore the confidence of the investors.
