Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar on Thursday said that ongoing crackdown against drug peddlers and land mafia will continue in the federal capital. Addressing a ceremony at a private education institution, the IGP said that the ongoing crackdown against drug and land mafia would continue with full force. "No stone will be left unturned in accomplishing this noble cause. Now we are at war against drugs," he said.
Zulfiqar said that awareness activities, especially in education institutions, would continue to educate students and parents against drug use. "Awareness campaign would continue in the rest of the educational institutions which would also call up parents for shouldering their responsibilities against drug menace," he said.
Deputy Inspector General (Operations) Faisal Ali Raja, Senior Superintendent of Police (Operation) Waqarud Din Syed, SSP (Headquarters) Irfan Tariq, Assistant Inspector General (Operations) Sardar Ghias Gul and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
