Amir Tufail named SNGPL MD

The government and BoD on Thursday appointed Amir Tufail managing director of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited-the country's largest gas distribution company.
Tufail was working as Deputy Managing Director of SNGPL before his elevation to the top slot. He is a senior most executive working in the company since 2004.
"Tufail is a Chartered Accountant with more than 27 years of working experience in and outside the country in and outside the country in both public and private sector organizations including multilateral funding agencies," said SNGPL spokesperson.
Earlier, the Board of Directors of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), in a meeting approved the resignation of Amjad Latif, Managing Director of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited with effect from January 10, 2019.
