Indian High Commissioner Ajay Bisaria has exchanged views with Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua on issues related to the difficulties in getting visas for citizens of both countries and the alleged harassment of diplomats in each other's capitals.
Diplomatic sources said that the Indian high commissioner met the foreign secretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday and exchanged views on various issues. They said that the two sides discussed the complaints from both the sides with regard to harassment of diplomats.
The sources further said that the difficulties in availing the visas to each other's citizens also came under discussion during the meeting. They further said that the two sides also exchanged views on the set mechanism existed between the two countries and agreed to resolve these issues at these platforms.
