The federal cabinet, which is scheduled to meet today (Thursday) with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair, will approve release of supplementary grant of Rs 9.387 million on account of revision in the salary of the President of Pakistan.
The cabinet will also consider the following items submitted by different ministries:(i) technical supplementary grant on account of transfer of funds/administrative control of defunct Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) to Ministry of Interior; (ii) expenditure for payment to hire solicitor for pursuing cases in the United Kingdom; (iii) conferment of power under Section 44 of the Prevention of Smuggling Act, 1977; (iv) review of cement supply-demand situation and prices; (v) approval for signing of MoU between Lok Virsa Museum, Islamabad, and National History Museum of the Republic of Belarus (MINSK, the Republic of Belarus) on cooperation; (v) disposal of un-serviceable aircraft of the Department of Plant Protection, Ministry of National Food Security & Research; (vi) distribution and devolution of private property/ land called Shikargah measuring 277,974 acres amongst legal heirs of late Emir of Bahawalpur; (vii) accession of Pakistan to the convention on the contract for the international carriage of goods by Road (CMR), 1956 and protocol to this Convention, 1978; (viii) signing the convention on the privileges and immunities of the Secretariat, its personnel and representatives of the members of conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA); (ix) supplementary grant to meet the expenditure requirements on revision of assistance package for the families of government employees who die in service; (x) supplementary grant of Rs 14,055,000 to meet the expenditure requirements on revision package for the families of government employees who die in service and; (xi) establishment of Advisory Board and reconstitution of the review committee of National Archives of Pakistan.
