The Sindh police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested around 3,060 accused in their raids and one encounter conducted at various districts of the province during the last two weeks.
A report released from the director press Sindh police office said that amongst the under arrest accused some 594 are absconders, 399 are proclaimed offenders, and 2067 involved in various other criminal activities have been nabbed during the course of actions.
The arrests have been made from Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazir Abad, Sukkar, Larkana.
The report said that police investigations are underway, while efforts are also being made to arrests the collaborators of under arrest accused.
