On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,680. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 15.770 billion and the number of lots traded 22,675. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 10.483 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.728 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.334 billion, gold PKR 1.325 billion, platinum PKR 261.307 million, DJ PKR 231.719 million, natural gas PKR 108.664 million, silver PKR 93.667 million, SP500 PKR 89.026 million, copper PKR 46.472 million, Palladium PKR 38.005 million and Brent crude oil PKR 29.605 million. In agriculture commodities 2 lots of cotton valued at PKR 1.027 million and 20 lots of corn amounting at PKR 52.031 million were traded.
