Hailstorm with heavy rain hit Lahore and its adjacent areas on Tuesday evening sharply dropping the temperature, tripping off the electricity feeders and disrupting the normal life of the citizens. The Met office told Business Recorder that during Tuesday night more widespread rain is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at scattered places in Peshawar, Kohat, Lahore, Sargodha divisions. More snowfall over hills is also expected in Malakand division (Swat, Chitral, Kalam, Malamjabba and upper Dir), Hazara division, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the period.

More scattered rains is expected in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Mardan, Kohat, Peshawar, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi divisions and Islamabad. Foggy conditions are also expected in plain areas of the Punjab during morning hours. More snowfall over hills is also expected in Malakand division (Swat, Chitral, Kalam, Malamjabba and upper Dir), Hazara division, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the period.
