Tunisia's state grains agency purchased around 100,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and 50,000 tonnes of feed barley in an international tender which closed on Wednesday, European traders said. The grains can all be sourced from optional origins. The wheat purchase was slightly above the tender volume sought. The soft wheat was bought in four 25,000-tonne consignments at $259.22 a tonne c&f from trading house Dreyfus; $259.25 a tonne c&f from Lecureur; $260.22 a tonne c&f also from Dreyfus and $260.11 a tonne c&f from Olam, they said.
