Sindh Community Foundation organized leadership skills workshop for girl's students belonging to 3 government girls' high schools of district Tando Muhammad Khan in cooperation with Mundo Cooperente.
The workshop was held at GGHS Tando Muhammad Khan city attended by 47 girls student enrolled in different grades in secondary schooling. Javed Hussain Head of SCF was the view that girls in remote areas don't access to secondary schools because of several contributing factors including distances high schools from their villages, poor socioeconomic backgrounds of rural communities. Transportation expenses are the main factor of the low enrollment ratio of girls in secondary education in district. He said that SCF is providing low cost transportation support to 50 girls living in 7 remote villages.
