Fruit Logistica in Berlin: Pakistani companies getting encouraging response from foreign buyers
Pakistani companies, participated in the world's renowned exhibition "Fruit Logistica-2019 (Berlin)", are getting very encouraging response from foreign buyers and booked over $15 million foreign orders.
A number of large companies from across the world have participated in the exhibition and displayed latest technology related to production and logistics of fruits & vegetables, water technology related machineries. In addition, a number of companies with modern methods of Agriculture and production of Fruits & Vegetables and transportation facilities for Food items have shown their deep interest in investment for joint ventures with Pakistan.
The exhibition "Fruit Logistica-2019" was held from February 6-8, 2019 in Berlin and a national pavilion for companies participating in the exhibition was also set up. There are stalls of 6 various companies of the Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters and Merchants Association (PFVA) participated in the exhibition. Some 25 representatives from various export companies are also participated in the exhibition.
Pakistani Kinnow, dates, Value-added products of dates, Fresh Vegetables, Mango and Guava Pulp and apple concentrate got overwhelming attention from the visitors.
According to Waheed Ahmed Patron-in-Chief PFVA and convener of standing committee of the FPCCI on Agriculture and Horticulture, so far Pakistani companies have finalized export order amounted to $15 million from buyers of different countries.
