Huge quantity of smuggled LEDs, tyres confiscated

Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive on Monday claimed to have confiscated substantial quantity of smuggled LEDs and tyres from Saddar area. According to details, credible information was received, which revealed the presence of substantial quantity of smuggled LEDs and tyres at Arbaz Bus Terminal, Saddar.
Reacting on this information, the team of anti-smuggling organisation (ASO) of MCC preventive raided the place and seized 36 Samsung LEDs worth Rs1.162 million and 114 pairs of old and new tyres worth Rs1.174 million. Consequent upon recovery, a case was registered. Further investigation is in progress.
