At least four security personnel have been martyred in a firing incident in Goran area of district Panjur on Sunday. The incident took place when security personnel deployed in the Goran area of Panjgur were on the routine patrol. Unidentified armed assailants opened fire and killed four security personnel namely Abdul Rehman, Naseebullah, Nauman and Haq Nawaz.
The security forces have cordoned off the area and have started search operation. According to a handout issued here today by CM secretariat, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal strongly condemned the incident of firing on Security forces in Panjgur and expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of four security personnel.
The chief minister termed the attack as a conspiracy against Balochistan and development of the province. He honoured the sacrifice of security personnel in establishing peace in the province and vowed to punish the elements involved in this attack.
