Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Sunday strongly denounced atrocities and state-sponsored terrorism being committed by Indian occupying forces against innocent people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to journalists at Spanish city of Barcelona, he said the treatment meted out to Kashmiri students by India adequately spoke of the so-called secularism and democracy of that country, according to a message received here on Sunday. "My ongoing visit to Europe is aimed at informing the civilized world on the brutalities and gross human rights abuses let loose Indian forces against Kashmiris", he said.
Farooq Haider asked the world powers to shun their traditional apathy toward 20 million people of Kashmir who had been subjected to the worst cruelties since the time they stood up for their right to self-determination. Even the 20 months old baby was not spared from the use of pellet guns that severely injured her eyes.
He said Indian secret agency RAW was engaged in continuous conspiracies against people of Kashmir. One of its proofs was the recent bomb explosion. Under the pretext of that explosion India launched a fresh wave of crackdowns against Kashmiris in the entire valley, he remarked.
People in occupied Kashmir were being terrorized and their properties were being torched, he noted. To a question, Farooq Haider said Narendra Modi reflected the typical face of India because of his extremist and violent ideology. It was why the Kashmiri people had so much hatred in their hearts against him. India from its actions had proved that minorities were not acceptable to it in its county, he pointed out.
The AJK prime minister said the people of Kashmir were determined to throw the yoke of slavery for which they had been struggling for the past seven decades. "They will not rest until they have achieved their goal of complete liberation and accession of the state to Pakistan," he maintained.
He said the Indian prime minister was publicly saying now that he had given free hand to its armed forces stationed in the held valley to carry out massacre of people of Kashmir. He asked the European countries to prevent India from its atrocities and help Kashmiris attain their right to self-determination.
