Citizen Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) on Friday organised a seminar titled 'Performance Appreciation and Capacity Building' which, the CPLC chief said, is aimed at encouraging those police officials who have rendered sacrifices in fight against terrorism and restored peace in Karachi. "This metropolis has witnessed a considerable decline in heinous crimes such as target killing, extortions, kidnapping for ransom during the last three to four years and that is just because of peace efforts by law enforcement agencies particularly the police," CPLC Chief (South) Akhtar Younis said, speaking at the seminar, held at Saleem Wahidi Auditorium, (Driving License Branch).
The event saw huge participation from police officers and cops. Karachi Police Chief Ameer Shaikh, DIG South Sharjeel Kharal, senior police officials of South Zone, SSP Peer Muhammad Shah, SSP City Muqadas Hadier, SSP Investigation 1 Tariq Dahrajo, SSP Investigation 2 Zumair, SP Clifton Sohaye Aziz also attended the seminar.
