GCU 119th annual sports concludes: Mariyam Yasin wins title of best female athlete

The three-day 119th annual sports of the GC University Lahore was concluded with a colorful ceremony at the university's Oval Ground marked by the Gymkhana events including cricket ball throw, girls chatti race, staff children race, wheel barrow race, musical chair and old ravians handicap race.
Lahore Walled City Authority Director General Kamran Lashari was chief guest at the Gymkhana events in which a large number of Old Ravians and their family members also participated. Mariyam Yasin of Physical Education Department won the title of Best Female Athlete of GCU for her extraordinary performance in different sports competitions.
Ali Haider, another student of Physical Education Department was declared the Best Male Athlete. The most enthralling event of tug-of-war was won by the team VC X1 beating the Old Ravians.
