Model Customs Collectorates (MCC), Appraisement East and West have collected Rs 485.85 billion during eight months of current fiscal year. According to the provisional statistics, the MCC, East has collected Rs 304.451 billion during eight months of ongoing fiscal year as against the target of Rs 327.98 billion, depicting a decline of seven percent.
The Collectoate has collected Rs 118.33 billion as customs duty, Rs 136.899 billion as sales tax, Rs 48.14 billion as income tax and Rs 1.07 billion as federal excise duty (FED) during this period. Similarly, the MCC, West has collected Rs 181.40 billion, declining by 7 percent as against the target of Rs 195.45 billion. The Collectorate has collected Rs 83.15 billion as Customs Duty, Rs 69.87billion as sales tax, Rs 27.63 billion as income tax and Rs 736 million as federal excise duty (FED) during this period.
