Non-Muslim Pakistanis staged rally to express solidarity with Pakistan and her armed forces here on Saturday. The rally staged in the name of 'Defence of Pakistan' was participated by non-Muslim Pakistanis, which included Christians, Hindus and people of Kalashi community. They vowed to render all kind of sacrifices for Pakistan.
They were led by Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Thomas and Member of provincial Assembly (MPA) Wazirzada who commended Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa for showing restrain and giving a soft message to the world that Pakistan wants 'peace'.
They were holding banners inscribed with slogans in favour of PM Imran Khan and CoAS Qamar Javed Bajwa and against the provocative language of Indian PM Narendra Modi.
Speaking on the occasion MNA Jamshed Thomas and MPA Wazirzada Kalash said that all non-Muslims are ready for all kind of sacrifices for the integrity of the country and support to Pak army to retaliate against any enemy aggression.
They said that PM Imran Khan had invited India for negotiations while Kartarpur corridor was an ample proof towards peace with the neighbouring country (India) but instead of reciprocating Pakistan in this regard, the Indian extremist Narendra Modi termed it a tactic to please Sikh community.
Both the lawmakers said that the Indian PM capitalise upon hate. They said that Imran Khan had already told him (Indian PM) for providing solid evidences of Pakistan's indulgence in Pulwama incident.
They termed that the current tension between Pakistan and India is bid of Indian PM Narendra Modi to get electoral benefit in the upcoming general elections.
They said that Kashmir is a jugular vein of Pakistan and appealed to the United Nations to play role in de-escalating the tensions between Pakistan and India.
