Pakistan Hindu Council has passed a unanimously resolution against Indian aggression and vowed to support brave Pak Army for defending motherland.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, the Managing Committee, during its meeting held at PHC House, also termed the recent visit of prominent parliamentarian Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani to India a remarkable peace initiative to defuse Pakistan-India regional tensions.
In order to acknowledge the successful Pakistan Movement, Pakistan Hindu Council also announced to dedicate upcoming Holi festival to Pakistan Day. Holi is occurring on 20th March 2019 as per Hindu lunar calendar. "Every year the Holi festival reminds us of the victory of the good over evil. Also known as the festival of colours, it is celebrated all across the world and with every passing year, it is increasing popularity among all faiths," the resolution said.
Pakistan Hindu Council, in connection with Holi festival and Pakistan Day, will hold a colorful mega event on Wednesday, 20th March 2019 at the Shri Panchumukhi Hanuman Temple, Soldier Bazar, Karachi. The event will start at 06:30PM, dignitaries will attend at 07:30PM while it will be concluded at 10:30PM.
On the occasion, a large number of Pakistani Hindu families, holding national flags, will be present to demonstrate their love for beloved Pakistan. Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, who is also patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council, while talking to media, expressed that patriotic Pakistani Hindu community has decided to celebrate the Holi in a very unique way.
He said that this year's Holi festival will acknowledge the noble achievements of Quaid-e-Azam and our elders to organize historic Lahore Jalsa on 23rd March 1940 for passing Pakistan Resolution.
He also appealed to all segments of society to actively participate in Holi celebrations, emphasizing that their presence would deliver a positive message to show solidarity with Non-Muslim minorities, promote interfaith harmony, strengthen patriotic zeal and represent diverse Pakistani society, according to Quaid-e-Azam 's vision.
The meeting was attended by Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani (Patron), Gopal Khamuani (President), Parshotam Ramani (General Secretary), Paman Lal Rathi (Joint Secretary), Bharat Kumar Mangalni (Finance Secretary), Prem Talreja (Advisor) and other members.
