Regional Tax Office (RTO) Peshawar has accelerated the tax recovery campaign and issued arrest warrants of several tax defaulters. The immovable properties, bank accounts of some 2874 defaulters were also frozen and the vehicles of some of them were also attached.
According to RTO Peshawar, the arrest warrants of the total of 126 persons in Peshawar, Mardan, D.I. Khan and corporate zones have been issued while the immovable properties were attached. These attached properties could not be sold or purchased without prior permission of the tax authorities.
