Mohammad Shafi of Peshawar clinched the title of the Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while Daud Khan grabbed the Mr. Junior Khyber Pakhtunkhwa title organized by District Government with the collaboration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding Association and Directorate of Sports KP here on Monday. Federal Minister for Regional Affairs Noor Ul Haq Qadri was the chief guest on this occasion. Mr. South Asian title holder Ijaz Ahmad, District Member Haji Hidayat Ullah, Members of the KP Bodybuilding Association Mohammad Ismail and Taj Mohammad and large number of spectators were also present.
Mohammad Shafi won the Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa title while Mr. Junior Khyber Pakhtunkhwa title won by Daud Khan. Mr. Peshawar title won by Shoukat Safi and Junior Mr. Peshawar grabbed by Obaid Khan.
Mohammad Waseem, who recently won class in the National Bodybuilding Championship held at Lahore, was declared as Mr. Super Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was awarded a glittering trophy. All title winners were also awarded motorbikes with cash prizes of Rs. 100,000 each.
In the Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Class 75kg Ilyas Khan won gold medal, followed by Asmat Ullah silver medal and Arshad won the bronze medal.
In the 80kg class Shoukat Safi won gold medal, followed by Masood Khan and Nazaqat Ali, in the 85kg weight category Fakare Zaman won gold medal, followed by Zikria and Adil Khan, in the 90kg Ayaz won gold medal, followed by Mohammad Ali and Yasir.
In the 90kg weight class Mohammad Shafi won gold medal while Nouman and Afnan won silver and bronze medals respectively.
In the Junior Class of Mr. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 75kg Daud Khan won gold medal, followed Gul Khan and Shoiab Khan, in the 80kg weight Asad Peshawar won gold medal, Sohail and Zahir grabbed silver and bronze medals.
In the 85kg Khurshid won gold medal, followed by Waqas and Hamza, in the 90kg weight class Obaid won gold medal, followed by Kamran and Sajid.
