On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,740. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.954 billion and the number of lots traded 8,210.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 1.649 billion followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.107 billion, gold PKR 830.121 million, WTI crude oil PKR 726.305 million, DJ PKR 187.577 million, silver PKR 167.104 million, platinum PKR 134.286 million, SP500 PKR 51.733 million, palladium PKR 42.874 million, copper PKR 24.009 million, natural gas PKR 16.920 million, Japan equity PKR 14.916 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.348 million. In agriculture commodities 6 lots of cotton valued at PKR 3.158 million were traded.
