Strong Collagen Karachi and Sindh will clash in the final of the Women Throw Ball Championship while in the Male Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab reached to the semi-final on the third day of the National Throw Ball Women and Men Championship being played here at University Campus Indoor Hall on Thursday. In the first semi-final Collagen defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa A team in a straight sets 2-0, the score was 25-13 and 25-17. The Collagen Karachi fully dominated the proceedings and did not give much chance to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa A team to strike back.
In the second semi-final Sindh upset Punjab by 2-1, the score was 25-23, 18-25 and 25-19 in a thrilling match witnessed and enjoyed by capacity crowd present on this occasion. There were thundering applauses for the players during both the semi-finals.
Now Collagen Karachi will face Sindh in the final while Punjab and KP-A will face each other for the third and fourth position. In the other matches Sindh beat KP-B by 2-0, Punjab beat Islamabad by 2-0, Gilgit Baltistan beat Sindh by 2-0, Collagen beat Islamabad by 2-0, Islamabad beat Police by 2-0, KP-A beat FATA by 2-0, Baluchistan beat Police by 2-0, FATA beat Gilgit-Baltistan by 2-0 and Punjab beat Balochistan by 2-0. In the men event Pakistan Police beat Punjab by 2-0, the score was 25-21, 25-19, KP-A beat KP-B by 2-0, KP-B beat FATA by 2-0 and Sindh beat KP-A by 2-0.
