State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Tariq Bajwa said on Friday it was a matter of pride for him to inaugurate the exhibition by master portrait maker and former principal National College of Arts Saeed Akhtar. He was talking to the media after the inaugurating the exhibition of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's paintings by professor Saeed Akhtar in connection with the Pakistan Day celebrations. Former governor Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa was also present on the occasion.
Tariq Bajwa also said exhibition was a humble attempt to pay tribute to the Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and to recognise the services and genius of the finest creative portrait artist of Pakistan. He told that earlier on December 25 last year, SBP Museum organized this exhibition in connection with the 143rd birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
