Over six cases of various kinds of theft, four cases of motor vehicle theft, three cases of kidnapping and two cases of murder were reported to various police stations of the city during the last week. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, the most "favourite" areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Industrial Area, Karachi Company and Golra police stations.
During the last week, Industrial Area police station registered one case each of robbery and auto theft. Naqsha Faiz lodged a complaint with Industrial Area police station that accused Shazia stole cash and a mobile phone from her purse. Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number RIQ-2968 of Javed from the jurisdiction of Industrial Area police station.
Karachi Company police station registered one case each of kidnapping and motor vehicle theft.
Carjackers lifted a car (WQ-2498) of Mukhtiar Masih. Another Ghulam Qasim informed Karachi Company police station that accused Sadaf, Sikandar and others kidnapped his daughter. Ghulam Akbar lodged a complaint with Golra police station that unknown robbers stole cash, gold ornaments, a gin and other valuables from his house.
One Yousaf Ali informed Bhara Kahu police station that unidentified bandits stole gold ornaments and other valuables from his house. During another incident, unknown persons snatched cash and two mobile phones from Hussain Aslam and his friend Adil Sher at gunpoint. In the same period Tarnol police station registered one case of robbery while Sihala and Lohi Bher police stations registered one case each of murder.
Similarly, Koral and Shalimar police stations registered one case each of auto theft in the same period. One case each of kidnapping was reported to Bani Gala and Sabzi Mandi police stations.
