The emerging status of 'New Pakistan' was due to dedicated service to mankind, welfare of the oppressed segments of society and the present PTI government under sagacious leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, was rigidly treading on this path, said Syed Samsam Bukhari, Punjab Minister for Information while addressing the annual conference of the Rotary Club International held at a local hotel.
Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Muhammad Ajmal Cheema also attended the conference. Information minister while appreciating the Rotary Club International said the services being rendered by this club are aimed at ameliorating lot of the unprivileged sections of the society throughout the world.
He said Islam preaches for love and affection to mankind and great respect for other religions and hence the levelling of unfounded allegations of 'extremism' against Pakistan were totally absurd and baseless. The Minister quoted the exemplary role of New Zealand prime minister who said there was no religion of extremists and terrorists because it was a 'mindset' which should be vehemently condemned by the comity of nations and we should collectively struggle to thwart the evil designs of the terrorists worldwide.
