The Business Plan Competition Training has been launched by Business Incubation Center (BIC) of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam in collaboration with Higher Education Commission of Pakistan with the support of Sindh Enterprise Development Fund (SEDF), Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) and Cambridge Advisors Network to build the capacity of the students in the field of Agri-Enterprise Development and to Facilitate them for entrepreneurship through small medium enterprise.
The training session followed by business plan presentations presented by faculty students and highlighted their business proposals in the field of (1) Pakistan Agricultural Services (2) Green House off season farming (3) Organic Farming (4) Soluble Drinks SATTU and (5) Tunnel Farming Off Season Vegetables.
Prof Dr Mujeebuddin Memon, Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam while addressing the youth and faculty of SAU Tandojam that the startup of the Agri-Business and their impact would ultimately be helpful for economic empowerment of the youth. He said the focus is being given to youth to explore their talent and provide them opportunities for small and medium enterprise. He said SAU youth could be the best entrepreneur in the society and hoped that such activities will serve the nation for solving their problems through agri-entrepreneurships he urged the scientists, scholars and youth to energize their potential for developing new ideas through innovation.
He appreciated the efforts of the BIC team and support of the Sindh Enterprise Development Fund for initiating its activities at SAU Tandojam.
Azhar Rizvi, a trainer and author of book 'Entrepreneuring Pakistan', said that his dream was to develop the youth in the field of agriculture sector and that dreams came true when the youth presented their business ideas with their participants.
