A week-long annual Sports Gala for 2019 was organised at Khyber Medical University Peshawar. The Gala KMU-Institute of Paramedical Sciences stood as champion of the tournament while obtaining 1st position, whereas NCS University System became 2nd and KMU-Institute of Physical Medicine & rehabilitation grabbed 3rd position.
The tournament hold various male and female games included; football, cricket, volleyball, tug of war, table tennis, carom board whereas female events included badminton, table tennis, tug of war, badminton, dodge the ball, spoon race and three leg race were organized during the week long events.
Prof. Dr. Arshad Javed, Vice Chancellor KMU along with Registrar distributed prizes and shields among the winner and runner up teams during a concluding ceremony of the sports event held on Wednesday. Besides Registrar KMU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, players, members sports committee, event organizers, heads of different Institutes, Faculty and a large number of students were also present at the occasion.
