On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,812. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.544 billion and the number of lots traded 4,729.
Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1.077 billion followed by WTI crude oil PKR 1.012 billion, gold PKR 829.178 million, NSDQ100 PKR 370.727 million, platinum PKR 84.988 million, DJ PKR 73.955 million, silver PKR 51.980 million, copper PKR 16.459 million, Brent crude oil PKR 11.324 million, SP500 PKR 9.716 million and natural gas PKR 6.465 million.
In agriculture commodities 24 lots of cotton valued at PKR 13.005 million were traded.
