Pakistan on Sunday warned India against any misadventure by summoning its top diplomat following Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi made a startling revelation that the country has credible intelligence that 'India is planning another act of aggression against it between April 16 and 20. According to Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal, the Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia was summoned to the Foreign Office on Sunday and warned against any misadventure.
"Indian DHC [deputy high commissioner] was summoned for demarche in line with FM's briefing of today & warned against any misadventure", the spokesperson stated in a tweet. Eyewitnesses said that the motorcade comprising more than 20 vehicles majority of them white Prados and an ambulance, which usually escort the Prime Minister or President as security protocol, arrived at the Diplomatic Enclave at noon on Sunday.
After arriving at the Diplomatic Enclave, which hosts foreign embassies, the motorcade headed towards the US Embassy, the eyewitnesses, stated could be its final destination.
However, it could not be ascertained whether it was the Prime Minister or the President, or anybody other VVIP personality, as security and police officials as well as other sources declined to speak on the matter when Business Recorder approached to them for confirmation.
