Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq and discussed the prevailing political situation of the country. According to a spokesperson of the JI, PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari telephoned JI chief and discussed the prevailing political situation of the country and the challenges being faced.
He said that the two leaders agreed on continuation of the mutual contacts to respond effectively to the current challenges. He said that Zardari underscored the need for mutual consultation among the opposition political parties, as he believed that the country is facing various crises.
