Sindh E&T department collects Rs 54.699 billion in nine months

Sindh Excise and Taxation (E&T) department on Monday claimed to have collected Rs 54.699 billion during nine months of current fiscal year.According to E&T officials, the department has collected Rs 54.699 billion from July 2018 to March 2019 as against the collection of Rs 48.050 billion made during last corresponding period.
The E&T department has collected Rs 5.57 billion under Motor vehicle Tax, Rs 42.96 billion under Infrastructure Cess, Rs 301 million under Professional Tax, Rs 162.853 million under Cotton Fee, Rs 1.75 billion under property tax, Rs 45.46 million under Entertainment Duty while rest of the collection was made from other taxes.
