Capital Development Authority (CDA) auctioned fifteen plots, including two undeveloped commercial plots in Diplomatic Enclave, on the last day of bidding of residential and commercial plots. Due to poor response from the bidders, the CDA succeeded in auctioning two plots in Diplomatic Enclave in the second attempt in the evening. No party participated in early bidding held in the morning. Plot No. 17-A, Diplomatic Enclave Markaz, measuring 427.77 square yards received a bid of Rs 674,000 per square yard, and plot No.17-C, Diplomatic Enclave, measuring 427.77 square yards received a bid of Rs 672,000 per square yard.
The CDA auction committee determined the token price of three commercial plots situated in Diplomatic Enclave at Rs 90 million but no party took interest in the bidding held in the morning. Later, in repeated attempt, CDA was able to dispose of the commercial plots in the Diplomatic Enclave.
The auction of residential and commercial plots of different categories/sizes in various developed sectors concluded by fetching the highest ever auction amount of Rs 11,284 million.
The CDA said that the auction proceedings were supervised by the auction committee headed by Member Finance CDA which managed and conducted auction in a well organised, open and transparent manner.
During the 4th day of auction of commercial plots, the auctioned plots included: plot No. 6-B, Bleu Area (G-8), measuring 777.77 square yards (sqy) received a bid of Rs 655,000 per square yard, plot No. 63-C, Blue Area (F-7) measuring 1711.11 sqy received a bid of Rs 367,000 per square yard, plot No.12, Markaz G-9, measuring 733.33 sqy received a bid of Rs 331,000 per square yard, plot No. 25-C, Sector G-11/1, measuring 4500.00 sqy received a bid of Rs162,000 per square yard, plot No. 66, Sehana (Orchard), measuring 03 acres, received a bid of Rs 2,100,000 per kanal, plot No. 2-H, Class-III Shopping Centre, No. 1, G-9/1, measuring 100.00 sqy received a bid of Rs 460,000 per square yard, plot No. 2-C, Class-III Shopping Centre, No. 10, G-9/3 measuring 133.33 sqy received a bid of Rs 390,000 per square yard, plot No. 1-B, Class-III Shopping Centre, No. 5, F-11/1 measuring 166.66 sqy received a bid of Rs 856,000 per square yard, plot No. 4-O, Community Core, H-8/2, measuring 266.66 sqy received a bid of Rs 660,000 per square yard, plot No. 3-E, Class-III Shopping Centre, No. 10, I-14/4, measuring 133.33 sqy received a bid of Rs 270,000 per square yard, plot No. 17-A, Diplomatic Enclave Markaz, measuring 427.77 sqy received a bid of Rs 674,000 per square yard, plot No.17-C, Diplomatic Enclave, measuring 427.77 sqr received a bid of Rs 672,000 per square yard, plot No. 57-B, Blue Area (F-6), measuring 2844.44 sqy received a bid of Rs 932,000 per square yard, plot No. 74, Sector I-11, measuring 1066.66 sqy received a bid of Rs 70,000 per square yard and plot No. 71, Sector I-11, measuring 1066.66 sqy received a bid of Rs 64,000 per square yard.
During the last day of auction, 15 commercial plots were auctioned at Rs 5,981 million while a total of 23 commercial plots were sold out amounting to Rs 10,030 million.
On the first day, 25 residential plots were sold out amounting to Rs 1,024 million, 06 residential plots were auctioned on the second day at Rs 230 million and on the 3rd day 08 commercial plots of various categories were auctioned amounting to Rs 4048 million. On the last and 4th day, 15 commercial plots were sold out amounting to Rs 5,981 million.
The chairman CDA said that income from auction will be used to enhance the development activities in the city, especially for completion of pending development projects.
