On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,851. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.994 billion and the number of lots traded 5,622. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 948.835 million followed by currencies through COTS PKR 904.643 million, gold PKR 710.937 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 617.805 million, DJ PKR 279.073 million, platinum PKR 260.886 million, silver PKR 167.927 million, SP500 PKR 60.804 million, copper PKR 25.740 million, natural gas PKR 10.559 million and Brent crude oil PKR 6.978 million.
In agriculture commodities 15 lots of cotton valued at PKR 8.261 million were traded.
