The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saeed Khosa has deeply regretted our legislators lack of cooperation insofar as provision of speedy and inexpensive justice to people is concerned. How unfortunate it is that our elected representatives are showing reluctance to act swiftly to address imbalances and deficiencies in the judiciary. The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government or the PTI legislators in particular are required to give plausible response to what the CJP has said a couple of days ago: According to him, "Up-till now we have already sent 70 reports to the Parliament and the Law Ministry but it is unfortunate that Parliament has not been paying attention to legislative matters. Provision of justice is not just the judiciary's job, and the legislature has to do its part."
