Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information and Archives, Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday has condemned minor's death in police encounter. He declared Sindh police responsible for the incident and said that accountability over misuse of power is inevitable.
He said that Government of Sindh has finalized the police reforms act. The proposed police act has been prepared in view of the overall situation in the province, Wahab said in a statement. A concerned committee of ministers has completed consultations with legal experts, while the input of police officials and their proposals have also been added in the proposed law, the adviser said. Murtaza Wahab told that investigation into the matter is underway as per law.-PR
