Director General Inter Service Public Relation (DG ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor on Monday said that crime rate of Karachi has fallen in World Crime Index and now Karachi stands at 70th. In a tweet message Major General Asif Ghafoor lauded the efforts of civil administration, security forces, police, rangers and citizens for fall in the crime ratio of Karachi.
DG ISPR said that Karachi at one point in 2014 was at 6th in World Crime Index, but today it is at 70th in World Crime Index. He gave the credit for fall in the crime ratio to the citizens, civil administration, security forces, intelligence, police and rangers.
