On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,830. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.248 billion and the number of lots traded 8,678.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 2.949 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 971.816 million, gold PKR 963.183 million, platinum PKR 436.577 million, currencies through COTS PKR 405.779 million, silver PKR 306.588 million, SP500 PKR 71.618 million, DJ PKR 67.517 million, palladium PKR 40.358 million, Brent crude oil PKR 20.605 million, copper PKR 7.347 million and natural gas PKR 7.289 million. In agriculture commodities 31 lots of cotton valued at PKR 31.530 million were traded.
