Custodian of Eidgah Shrine Pir Muhammad Naqeeb-ur-Rehman and Sahib Zada Pir Muhammad Hassan Haseeb-ur-Rehman Wednesday appreciated the role of Pakistan's armed forces in safeguarding ideological and geographical frontiers of the country in a highly professional manner.
Addressing a joint meeting of Ulema and Mashaikah here, he endorsed the recent statement of Pakistan Army's spokesman Maj-Gen Asif Ghafoor about the elements carrying out anti-state activities. He said the whole nation was proud of its valiant army and had complete confidence in leadership of Chief of the Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa. Pir Muhammad Naqeeb-ur-Rehman said the country's armed forces were effectively tackling all nefarious designs of enemies whether these were external aggression, internal threats or terrorism
He said Ulema and Mashaikh from all schools of thought were standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their brave army and ready for rendering every kind of sacrifices for the motherland, which came into being on 27th of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak in 1947. He paid tribute to the armed forces for rendering great sacrifices to purge the country of terrorists, anti-state elements and giving befitting response to external aggression.
The custodian of Eidgah Shrine expressed confidence that by the grace of Allah Almighty and blessing of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) no one could even think of casting an evil eye on the country in the presence of Pakistan Army.
He said the country was passing through a critical time and highlighted the importance of forging greater unity among all ranks to foil nefarious designs of enemies, who wanted to weaken the country through different tactics. Later, Pir Muhammad Naqeeb-ur-Rehman offered special prayer for peace, progress and prosperity of the country, unity among Ummah and Pakistan's Armed Forces success in all future strides to protect the country.-PR
