On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,750. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.615 billion and the number of lots traded 13,698.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 5.078 billion, followed by DJ PKR 1.472 billion, gold PKR 1.361 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.020 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 541.081 million, platinum PKR 444.920 million, SP500 PKR 371.661 million, silver PKR 171.318 million, Brent crude oil PKR 89.332 million, copper PKR 47.260 million and natural gas PKR 16.539 million.
In agriculture commodities 27 lots of cotton valued at PKR 32.875 million and one lot of soybean valued at PKR 5.852 million was traded.
