Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited three different districts on Tuesday and inspected Ramazan bazaars, hospitals and other projects there. After his departure from Lahore, the CM directed the pilot to land helicopter at Noorpur Thal where tehsil administration remained oblivious of his arrival due to uninformed arrival.
Usman Buzdar went to the Ramazan bazaar on foot and a large number of people were gathered upon his arrival. He inspected the rates and quality of daily use items besides visiting the stalls of subsidized sugar and flour where the Chief Minister assured to a complainant that issue of provision of sugar to the Ramazan bazaars will be solved today positively.
From Noorpur Thal, the Chief Minister went to Mankera tehsil of Bhakkar and visited the Ramazan bazaar to check the standard of items and rates of the eatables. He also visited the THQ hospital and inquired about the health of the patients. Talking to them, Usman Buzdar said that he is not a Chief Minister but a servant to the people and assured that all the weaknesses in the health sector will be removed. The CM also inspected the under-construction building of Danish school in Mankera.
While talking to the media, the Chief Minister said that MM Road will be constructed soon and added that farmers are being provided interest-free loans for tractors in 13 barani districts. I have been going to the people to know their problems, he added.
The Chief Minister also visited Faisalabad to inspect the Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology (FIC). He inspected the facilities and inquired the patients about medical facilities who expressed their satisfaction. The Chief Minister announced to expand the FIC as this expansion is imperative in the wake of patients' rush. I have been visiting hospitals for providing the best healthcare facilities and FIC patients will be given most modern medical facilities, he added.
Later, the Chief Minister visited the office of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company and held a meeting with the office-bearers of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, traders and industrialists who apprised about their proposals and problems.
While talking to the media at FIC and Circuit House, the Chief Minister said that the establishment of more hospitals in Faisalabad is imperative keeping in view the large size of the population. He assured that development funds will be provided on a priority basis for the development of the city and said that a detailed visit will be made after Eid.
