Political and religious leaderships of the country have urged Muslim world leadership to devise effective strategy against terrorists and their masterminds to save the Muslim regions from the ongoing conflicts and terrorism drives. Speaking at an event organised by Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) titled "Tahafuz-e-Harmain Al-Sharifain, Al-Aqsa Conference" here on Tuesday, the speakers underlined the need for Muslim unity to resolve conflicts within Muslim world and deal with the menace of terrorism. While denouncing prevailing wave of terrorism in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, they demanded the Muslim world to devise a unanimous and cohesive mechanism against terrorists, their supporters and masterminds.
They said that recent terrorism activities in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan by the enemies of Islam will not be tolerated. The participants of the conference also assured the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia of complete support for security, defence and integrity of Harmain Al-Sharifain.
The participants of the conference including former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan said that prevailing wave of unrest in Gulf countries is very alarming and concerning for the entire Muslim world. They appreciated the Saudi stance of not engaging in any war like situation with Iran, saying it is very welcoming and all the confronting issues of Muslim world should be settled through peaceful talks.
Every Muslim feels that it is his responsibility to ensure sanctity of the holy places of Islam and Muslims. Any bid to impose aggression towards Saudi Arabia will not be tolerated and any organisation and country will not be allowed to play havoc with peace and sanctity of Harmain Al-Sharifain.
Speaking on the occasion Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, chairman of his own faction of PUC said that Organisation of Islamic Countries' (OICs) recent meeting scheduled to be held in Makkah should devise an explicit strategy to contain terrorists and their supporters responsible for prevailing wave of terrorism and missile strikes at different cities of Saudi Arabia.
He said that to resolve Iran-Arab world confrontation, support for Houthi rebel tribes and extremists responsible for targeted strikes at Saudi Arabia should immediately be come to an end. Ashrafi also announced to observe "Ashra-e-Tahafuz-e-Harmain Al-Sharifain, Al-Aqsa" from 20th Ramazan to 29th Ramazan. Diplomatic delegates of different Islamic countries also attended the conference.
After making devastations in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon, enemies of Islam and Muslims are hatching conspiracies to make anarchy and chaos in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Defence and stability of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are associated with each other, Ashrafi said. Preplanned bids are being made to create anarchy and chaos in the Muslim world by fanning sectarian violence and targeted missile strikes at different cities of Saudi Arabia including Makkah, Jeddah and Tayef, he further stated.
A resolution adopted at the conference expressed solidarity with the oppressed Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine stating that entire Muslim world should raise a joint voice against atrocities of Israelis and Indian troops in Kashmir and Palestine. The PUC leadership announced to organise various conferences and congregations across the country from 20th Ramazan to express solidarity and to support the struggle of Palestinians and Kashmiris.
Another resolution adopted at the conference lauded the security forces of Saudi Arabia for foiling missile strikes of terrorists and Houthi rebels. It is prestige and honour for Pak-Forces that security forces of Saudi Arabia are being trained by them.
Another resolution adopted at the conference stated that Hajj & Umrah are holy worshipping practices of Muslims and everyone should stay away from doing politics on these holy worshipping. Decision on part of Saudi leadership to allow pilgrims of Qatar is very welcoming. The conference also pointed out that enemies of Islam are taking advantages of differences among Muslim countries.
Another resolution adopted at the conference condemned terrorists' activity in the maritime limits of the UAE. The conference also announced to endorse decision of the government to associate registration of seminaries with the Ministry of Education, stating that the ruling government made a right decision by acknowledging the demands of seminaries.
